Our Caregivers:

Infant room 1 0-5 months old

In infant room one the teachers try to get to infants to turn and react to sounds. The teachers also try to introduce the infants to their five senses. There are scheduled activities such as story time, music time, and so on, but the infants have their own eating and sleeping schedules.

Child teacher ratio 4 to 1

Infant room 2 6-11 months old

In infant room two the teachers encourage the children to start crawling, pulling up, sitting up, and to hold a bottle. The teacher introduces toys that make the infants use their gross and fine motor skills. There are scheduled activities such as story time, music time, and so on, but the infants have their own eating and sleeping schedules.

Child teacher ratio 4 to 1

Infant room 3 11-17 months

In infant room 3 the teachers encourage the infants to start walking. The teacher also transitions the children from a bottle to using a sippie cup. They also start to sleep on mats instead of cribs to be able to be prepared for the transition to the 18 month old room. The infants are kept on a certain schedule the all eat, sleep, play, and have certain activities going on a certain times.

Toddler Room 18-23 months

In the toddler room the children are encouraged to follow through on their stepping stones such as: lacing, stacking, building, and etc.

This is also the age where the children start to bite they are told to give hugs & kisses and not to bite.

Child teacher ratio 9 to 1

Two year old rooms 24-35 months

In the two year old room the children start to learn their numbers, colors, shapes, songs, and are introduced to some of the alphabet. The teachers also help to start potty training.

Child teacher ratio 11 to 1

Three year room 36-47 months

In the three year old room the children continue to learn their numbers, colors, shapes, alphabets, and are encouraged to try to start writing.

Child teacher ratio 15 to 1

Four year old room 48 months -8 yrs. Old

In the room year old room the children continue to work on the writing and are taught things they need to know to get ready to enter kindergarten. The children are also encouraged to do things on their own without a lot of help from the teacher. The teacher also tries to help the children that come in after school with their homework and their daily reading.
